I mean, it's not that you were serious. And for #2 who said it's creepy, it's honestly not, just a mistake. I usually reply with "hey love" when a female friend say hi to me, and when a male friend did, I slipped up & said the same thing. Sometimes your mind is just not in the right place/ you're not conscious of your reaction.

I told one of my friends that I loved her for the same reason. She got really weirded out about it at the time, but 13 years later and we're still best friends. I think it'll blow over, try to make a joke out of it. ?

I do shit like this all the time. This should just reinforce how important your girlfriend is to you and how close you are with your friend. It's hard not to roll-over the habits we create with people we are comfortable with.
