Today, I work at a chocolate factory on the sanitation shift. I was under a machine cleaning and a spider fell on me. I started freaking out and a coworker thought I got caught in the moving parts and frantically pulled me out and alerted my boss. Turns out it was just a piece of caramel. FML

Today, while I was fitting a new fuse box, a giant spider tried to eat my fingers. As I pulled away, I touched the exposed wires. I woke up flat on my back to the customer slapping my face, burnt fingers, and bruises everywhere. I had also peed and shit myself. FML

Today, while hiking, I walked face first into a spider web. Freaking out, I shook my hair out in case there was a spider. Later on in the day the spider fell from my hair into my food. FML

Today, someone had been stealing my brownie at work every day, so I sprinkled cocolax on one and waited to find out who the culprit was. Turns out it was my manager. Needless to say, I'm fired. FML

Today, I was eating lunch outside with my friends, when a spider fell on one guy's back. I glanced at it and opened my mouth to warn him when another guy flicked it and it went into my mouth. I can still taste it. FML

Today, I woke up to a spider crawling across my face. I was so shocked that my new house had spiders, I jumped up out of bed, only to slip on the floor and land face down onto the bed. Wouldn't you know it, right where the spider was at that point. I can still taste the juice I squished out of it. FML

Today, I was making a shake at work when the cup fell off the blender. I went to catch it, and instead caught the teeth of the still-spinning mixer. When my hand was still bleeding five minutes later, my supervisor told me to clock out until it stopped. I lost money for getting hurt on the job. FML

Today, at work, I tried to sneakily open a bag of chips I had hidden in my desk drawer. The bag decided to explode as soon as I tore it open, sending chips flying everywhere. My boss chose that exact moment to walk by and saw me on the floor, frantically picking up chips. FML

Second post- I have a cockroach phobia, so I feel your pain. The people that are wondering why you would freak out that much over a spider clearly don't understand phobias lol. Sometimes I'll feel something "crawling" on my leg or back or arm and I start freaking out, because I'll think it's a roach.. but it'll turn out to be like a strand of hair or something LOL. And I get that this is a FYL because you made a complete idiot out of yourself. Been there, done that.

i actually work with the OP. the company is called tsudis chocolates, we make stuff for hershey, dove, mars, etc and no, there are no oompa loompas, and the owners name is pete, not willy. and although you may think working in a chocolate factory would be cool, sanitation shift sucks. and you really arent allowed to eat any of the candy.

This is great. Added to favorites. I ******* HATE spiders, but I'm not a complete pussy. Over reacting is what will get you bit. Just like any other species of animal. Also don't understand how everyone is so amped to work in a chocolate factory. It's a factory. It's going to be loud, you're working on your feet all day, there are going to be 4 shifts, it's not going to pay a lot and you're going to end up hating whatever they make. Did I also mention wearing a hard hat and goggles? This also has been added to my "worst way to die list" - caramel machine. /Did anyone mention Oompa Loompas yet?

Oompa Loompa Doopity Doo! lol. Dude, you get to work in a freaking CHOCOLATE FACTORY!!! I know it may be like #60 says, BUT YOU GET TO BE AROUND CHOCOLATE ALL DAY!!! Plus you have a really nice co-worker. ^_^
