Same thing happened to me almost, when I was 12 my 10 year old brother tried to punch me when I was standing by a car and I moved out of the way, which resulted in him denting the car...which of course I got blamed for. Also, "a little pain is not worth more than your brother's hand!"
If it was the parents' car, OP absolutely should pay for it. "Ooh, I'm so mad at you that I'm going to damage someone else's property!" I'm torn about whether to believe she was actually intending to hit OP. On one hand, it sounds like an exaggeration. On the other hand, I've heard of much worse violence between siblings.
We don't know that the OP actually intended to damage the car. I agree that this FML sounds fishy, but if it happened the way the OP says it did, then the bigger problem is that their sister is a homicidal maniac.
Wow, what the **** is wrong with them? =S
D: Your sister needs some counseling. What would possess her to try to run you over. FYL more b/c she tried running you over.
