There was no indication the OP thought there wouldn't be any consequences. All it says is that he brought up the subject. Instead of talking about it like a suitable adult, the wife plays a recording of a crying baby? What you'll put up with depends on the magnitude of the situation. Taking care of a crying baby is one thing, getting up at 3am to turn off a recording is absurd. There's nothing wrong with wanting to expand your family especially if you're married. Babies are not huge burdens! I loved being pregnant. I also enjoy bonding with my child and taking care of her. I do not have any complaints. My body also recovered quickly after I gave birth. Consequences? Psh. Its all good. :) he wants a baby then he would prob help take care if it. You shouldn't be so quick to judge!
