Today, no matter how many toys and teddies she has, and no matter how much I punish her, I'm most likely never going to be able to break my 10-week-old puppy's habit of stealing my underwear. She doesn't eat them or even chew on them. She steals them to sleep with. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I finally realized why my 9-week-old puppy was going to the bathroom so much. I went to pick up the food bag and realized she had chewed a hole in the bottom, and eaten half of the bag in the last 4 days. Goodbye 30 pounds of dog food, and 100$ for a vet visit. FML

Today, I went to the local pet store to purchase a large dog bed so my dog wouldn't sleep in mine. After I got home and set up her bed, I realized I forgot to buy dog treats. When I came home again, her new bed was torn to shreds, and she was still sleeping on my bed. FML

Today, it turned out that letting my daughter watch '101 Dalmatians' backfired; our dog gave birth to two gorgeous pups but she can't stop crying and asking where 'the rest of them' went. Apparently she's been telling her friends all week that she'd soon have 15 puppies to play with, and now will never be happy again. FML

Today, when I visited my daughter's apartment that she moved into about 3 months ago, I found out that she buys new underwear every time she runs out instead of washing her dirty ones. Her dirty ones have their own special hamper. FML

Today, I let my 4-month old puppy sleep with me. She’s been constipated for a while. I woke up to a foul odor in the middle of the night. Turns out she took a massive dump on the bed right by my head. I had to completely strip my bed to go back to sleep. FML

Today, my mum decided to teach me a lesson about carelessly leaving my wallet about. She left it on the floor so our puppy could use it and its contents as a chew toy. I was almost impressed to discover that he can eat three £20 notes and still have room for debit cards. FML

it's actually a good thing for your puppy to do that, the dog will be use to only your scent. as weird as this may sound you should give your puppy maybe one y piece if your under garment, and spit on it... the dog will become closer to you, and be more protective of you...

Have you tried using a towel or baby blanket, sleep with it and then put it in the puppy's bed? Also, put your underwear in the washer or hamper...

Leave a t-shirt in her bed that you've worn but haven't washed - looks like your scent comforts her :) That should do the trick!

My dog use to sleep on my dirty laundry in the bathroom, so I don't really find this strange. She has her own bed now, and has for years, but most of the blankets for her bed are actually old clothes of mine. Your dog does it because she already loves you and wants to be close to you. Your scent is comforting to her. Try wearing an old t-shirt for a day and then giving it to her unwashed.
