Good girl

Today, no matter how many toys and teddies she has, and no matter how much I punish her, I'm most likely never going to be able to break my 10-week-old puppy's habit of stealing my underwear. She doesn't eat them or even chew on them. She steals them to sleep with. FML

Sew a bed for her using your underwear, and go commando. Problem solved.

Take some old pairs and let her sleep with them

Good things to know when you're trying to teach your dog something: -If one way doens't work, try doing it some other way. Just because it didn't work the way you did it, it doesn't mean it's impossible to. -Try to teach stuff with less punishment and more encouragement. Why always make harm when you can make happy? When your puppy tries to take the underwear, say/do something that draws her attention away so she doesn't get to take them. Then REWARD! If she's 10 weeks you've probably had her for just a couple of weeks. You can't just decide already then that "NO, this will never work". Things are easy now, it will probably get waaay worse when she gets a little bit older, and that's not a good way to think already.

Get a blanket you slept on for it. She wants your smell to be close

Do you leave a lot? Is so she (he?) just misses you and enjoys your smell. It will grow out of it. I have a Black Lab that used to do that too.

I don't work at the moment and I'm home all day giving her cuddles, so it can't be that.

Oh well I tried. Sorry, OP. Try sleeping with her toys for a couple of days. Make sure your scent gets on them?

Buy some cheep underwear and then give them to her so you don't have her taking your good underwear

There's this crazy idea called "pick up your shit." If your dog won't leave your undies alone, put them in a closed hamper in a closed laundry room. Come on, this is not rocket science.

Actually, depending on the size of the dog (or on how inventive said dog is), the hamper could be knocked over or opened. My dad's spaniel figured out how to open the storm door to the backyard. When my dad locked the thing, Buddy simply chewed a hole in the screen and got out

Your dad's spaniel deserved all of the underwear he got.

How hard is it to put our underwear out a reach of a 10 week old puppy?

It's your scent on them. My 3 year old pup likes to steal socks for this very reason. (She used to take underpants until she discovered socks.)
