Today, I had a seizure at my boyfriend's. The second I began to seize, he cursed and picked me up, dropping me on the floor complaining, "Now I have to clean the damn couch." I had urinated because I had no control over my body. The couch is still stained. He dumped me for ruining his furniture. FML

well at least now you can find a guy who can actually HELP you when you are seizing. and now that you are not seizing and free of that jerk you get to laugh when you think of what you did to his couch =)

This is a lie. Nobody can hear during a seizure. If OP peed her pants, it was purposeful, because she was having a Pseudoseizure.... A fake seizure designed to get attention. A real seizure causes one to go completely unconscious, especially when it's so bad that one loses bladder control.

Most people can hear during a seizure - the most common type to have is a complex partial, and people having complex (or simple) partial seizures can converse with you during the seizures. Its just that their answers to your questions won't always make sense. People having generalized seizures (the kind you typically see on tv) usually do loose control of their bowels and/or bladder during a seizure

My girlfriend had a seizure just before and was taken to the hospital. I couldn't go with her because her step-mom forced me to stay at home with the baby so she can go acting like she had more of a right. All I have heard since is that she had another one in the ambulance and that they ordered tests... I don't know how your boyfriend could be such a dick. I'm so worried about my girlfriend right now its making me sick

I know how you feel, honey. My boyfriend of 7.5 years, whom I'd dated since 14 and lost my virginity to, dumped me because I'm on dialysis and am too sick for a kidney transplant, which gives me at most 10-12 years more to live. He decided to marry his (female) best friend instead. I've since found a man that will stand by me through anything, and you will, too. That asshole didn't deserve you if he didn't at least try to find out any information about your illness. FYL, but he can also FRO (**** Right Off). You deserve better, and you'll find it.
