Grossed out

Today, after threatening my son for weeks that if he didn't clean his room, I would, I went in, equipped with a garbage bag, ready to throw away everything I found, only to discover dozens of empty bottles, two partially empty pizza boxes, Taco Bell wrappers, and cockroaches. FML

Well that's a useless threat. "Do your chores or I will for you!"

What's the problem? You should've known what you were getting into.

Follow through within your threats quicker next time instead of waiting weeks while stuff accumlates. I rememebr that threat from my parents who never did it because then I would have no clothes. Then I would go to shcool with no clothes and then they would look bad.=) Find another threat...

Regardless, if I were you I'd kick his ass for being such a disgusting slob a lot earlier. If he was in my house he wouldn't have a room, he'd live in the dog kennel outside.

so you threaten him for weeks with no follow through, then just do the work for him? supernanny would be appalled.

I gotta say: you did deserve that! If you stopped telling him to clean his room you'd do it he might have cleaned s little bit up

Seriously? You really thought you were gonna get him to do something by threatening to do it for him? What, do you go to his classes and do all his homework if he doesn't do that either? People like you really shouldn't have children ): YDI.

YDI for barging into your son's room without permission.

ummm how is cleaning ur sons room a threat?

Ydi for threatening to clean your sons room for him if he didnt clean It for himself. dumbass

This is an interesting string of comments. And those of you saying she deserved it for cleaning for him... She meant that if he didn't clean it, she was going to throw out everything in sight. Not just clean the room, but clean the room out.
