I thought you needed a membership to go to Costco, or was that just to make purchases?

I do the same thing. Please search for food banks and kitchens in your area. They will give you free food. Some mosques and churches also give free food to people who need it. Mosques will generally hand out food after the meeting is over, churches are known to give vouchers for you to buy food. Good luck!

Jobs aren't that easy to find right now. Plus, OP might have a job- living paycheck to paycheck is rough, and sometimes after paying bills to keep a roof over your head there isn't alot of extra money.
