Honest mistake

Today, was my first day back at work since my wife got breast cancer. I come in and see some people with pink slips and frowns. When I get to my desk I find a pink slip, I go up to my boss and start to curse him out for firing me. Only to find out my pink slip was a fundraiser for my wife. FML

Well, I'm from NJ and my mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer......dad?! Is this you?! lol jk you're prob not anywaaaaaayyyy that's really sweet of them to do for your wife. I understand the pink, but they prob could have told you in a different way. Hope your wife will be okay!!!

Maybe this will teach you to be a bit less of a dick. You should probably take from this and learn how not to overreact to things and live more peacefully. Christ, you'd think that you're wife having just had breast cancer (I'm assuming she's in remission?) you'd be able to take things into perspective and take it all in stride. If you are as rash as you seem to be in your story, your life is most likely ******. Best of luck for your wife, it's always great to hear positivity come from heartbreak and I hope she continues to do well.

I felt like clicking YDI, but the situation was bad enough already without the whole complaining about firing thing. But you should look closer at it next time. Sorry about your wife, hope she gets better.
