I'm a lightweight and it takes me more than one beer... in fact i don't know ANY one who gets drunk off of one beer. Maybe buzzed if you're really not good with alcohol. and who cares if your a lightweight? YDI for trying to prove something and failing

(redbluegreen) Alcohol effects everyone at in a different way. Due to body mass, height, resistance the body created due to being exposed to the alcohol etc. You can not honestly expect the person next to you to have the same effects as you do while drinking? Also, if she was a "lightweight" it would usually be safe to assume the body of that person hasn't adapted a resistance. Honestly, I do not see why people showboat their ability to become drunk. It is something anyone can do and it is certain that you are going to make an idiot out of your self while being drunk.

one beer? thats pathetic. I drank an entire 2-6 of hard liquor and wasnt even drunk- I'm a girl too.

Guys, it also depends on the type of beer she did have. Some beer can be pretty strong, and if she's a small girl it could effect her. American piss-water, for instance, is not a strong beer at all. But still, it does seem like one beer is a bit of a let down... unless one pint or something? haha

It's certainly possible for someone to get to that point after one beer, but it's probably more psychological than physiological. I'd even venture to say the OP could get drunk off non-alcoholic beer. To the OP, there's nothing wrong with being a lightweight. If you really have trouble with alcohol, either quit drinking or pace yourself. You don't need to "prove" yourself by drinking your friends under the table.

Nobody gets drunk off one beer. Noooooobody. No matter how much of a lightweight you are. Even if you shotgun it which it doesn't sound like you did. So either you got roofied or you tried and failed to make up a fake FML.
