I f****** love Japan! But your situation sucks. FYL
I am sorry for you!! I live in Japan and the food is so good!!
OP - Surely plain boiled rice would be fine? It's about as bland as it's possible to get and should really not upset your stomach. As others have pointed out, Mc Donalds should be available in Japan. McDonalds is absolutely everywhere. Nothing in even a foreign McDonalds store should taste odd or contain anything different, as I am pretty sure all the food is made to a specific recipe , frozen and shipped worldwide. Therefore the McDonalds you get in the US will be the very same elsewhere. Something light like 6 nuggets and fries should not upset your constitution. It may not be healthy but it will keep you going so you won't have to half starve.
how you go to japan? with a visitors pass?
just go to mcDonalds they have that in japan
There are American fast food places in Asia...
Off topic but, Japan is amazing.
Contrary to popular belief, not all Japanese food is raw fish and wasabi! Many basic foods (bread and the kind) are the same, but good luck finding fruit that isn't completely over expensive. If you're in a major city, a lot of restaurants have Western menus, and most of the fast food is the same too.
Or IBD.
