Today, I went on a date with this guy and he was on his phone the whole night. When I got home I checked his Facebook since he barely paid attention to me. His status was, "So-and-so is taking out the trash" from mobile posted an hour ago. I got home from my date 30 mins ago. FML

Today, I was on a dinner date with a guy I really like. I guess I was on my phone too much because halfway through the date he sent me a text saying how much my half of the bill would be. FML

Today, my phone kept beeping, so I put it on silent and went back to sleep. When I woke up later, I found the guy I went on a date with last night had sent dozens of messages. The first was "Good morning! :)" and the last was "Answer me u fuckin cunt!!!!" I think I'm staying single. FML

Today, I went on an online date. I'd spent a while getting ready and making sure I looked good. When I arrived at the café, I saw my date and approached with a smile. He stood up, looked me over, and said, "Oh, I thought you were your profile picture’s friend." Then left. FML

That sucks. Even though he wasn't interested in you, he could have still been polite. It's extremely rude to ignore the person you are having dinner with. I probably would have grabbed his phone and chucked it at the wall.

LOL @ the sexism comments. You people are SO entertaining! Anyway, I'm a chick and I say the OP is a moron for not leaving. Yes, the guy's an ass, but she's an idiot for not leaving the date. Why would you suffer through a whole date if someone isn't paying attention to you? That makes absolutely no sense unless the OP has no self confidence AT ALL. GROW A PAIR!

Oh, BTW, #1 made the stupidest comment I've ever read. She went on a date with him because initally he didn't seem like an asshole. It wasn't until the actual date when she found he was one. DUH. Or, I could be completely wrong and he was an asshole from the start. Either way, you'll be sick for the rest of your life because some chicks are simply attracted to assholes. Poor you.

getting up and walking out when someone is on the phone for too long makes a point. i've done that a couple times and i've always gotten calls later apologizing and asking to meet up again for a second chance. (maybe i'm more awesome? or just better at standing up for myself?)
