We aren't all like that; I know a lot of cyclists ride irresponsibly and trust me it irritates the good cyclists as much as car drivers for giving us a bad name.
This didn't happen around Boulder did it? More to the point though aren't bicycles legal vehicles, which means if he hit you shouldn't he get the ticket. I suspect that like most places the cost of fighting it isn't really worth it.
@Major_General Bicycles ARE legal vehicles. In fact, bicycles have the RIGHT to use the road, whereas automobiles are granted the PRIVILEGE of operating on the road. Please learn some basic road laws before spouting off.
90-I believe 85 was trying to say "aren't bicycles legal vehicles?", not "bicycles aren't legal vehicles", which would imply that 85 did know that they are, but was unsure. I could be wrong, though.
They've got the idea, court the bastard
I don't see how you got cited for reckless driving... Common sense these days. Fyl
I'm pretty sure you left out some key details in this fml. Such as you most likely driving like a dick and pulling out way too far into traffic.
