It's Thursday!

Today, I went in the diner I always pass by and ordered a sandwich. When I asked how much it was, the waitress replied, "Don't worry, honey. We give free meals to the homeless on Thursdays." I was too ashamed to deny it, so I just said thank you and left. FML

I'd be too busy stuffing my face with the free food to be bothered about people thinking I was a homeless person.

I don't get it are you homeless? Why wouldn't you not just say"I'm not homeless" and if you are homeless how come you have access to the Internet but not a house??

She's not homeless, she just didn't want to correct the waitress because it would be really embarrassing to admit that you're actually just fine for money but still somehow appear to be homeless

I bet if you would have told her you weren't homeless she would have felt bad and still given it to you for free
