Today, I was at my girlfriend's house, and she was tickling me. It got a bit rough, and she fell out of bed and hit the floor. Her parents, thinking we'd been fighting, burst into the room to see her holding her bloody nose. She didn't say anything while her dad kicked my ass. FML

Today, I was fooling around with my boyfriend in his room. He grabbed me behind the head to pull me in for a hard, romantic kiss. He accidentally smashed my nose into his cheekbone, and my nose started gushing blood and continued to bleed for over 2 hours. It's broken, and he just laughed. FML

#31 - none of that FML says anything about sleeping there. how is tickling each other something they should not be doing until they move out, or have to go out to do? it is fun - not a bad thing. the only bad thing is that the girlfriend didnt bother telling the father it was an accident. so please shut up. your comment was ridiculous.

I can only see two excuses for her behavior. a) She was telling you to stop and you kept tickling and she fell off the bed trying to get away when you didn't think she was serious. In which case, you sorta deserved it...when a girl says NO about any unwanted physical contact, you need to LISTEN. b) She really did hit her head hard enough to be dazed and out-of-it, in which case, the Dad should have taken you BOTH to the hospital. If neither of the above is true? Absolutely press charges and dump the bitch. There is NO OTHER EXCUSE for her behavior. She's vindictive, selfish, and manipulative and her dad is a bastard. Yes, a protect-my-kid Dad switch SHOULD have been thrown, but you should have been given a brief chance to explain "she fell off when I tickled her" and for her to agree. As an adult, NO. You do NOT do that shit. She needs to tell Dad what happened if it was B and he needs to fall over himself apologizing. If A, find someone else to date and take it as a lesson learned. If neither, find someone sane with a sane family to date!!!!

If he was tickling her, she said stop and he didn't pick up on the seriousness (in a tickle fight), this would result in her ACCIDENTALLY hurting herself. I'm sure he would feel terrible, and it was perhaps poor judgement on his behalf. This does not warrant her dad PURPOSEFULLY beating him up. I find this part of your comment quite offensive and I'm sure if the genders were reversed you would change your tune. As for the second part, I agree.

Reread the FML. The girlfriend was tickling OP and things got rough. Maybe OP was trying to defend himself and accidentally knocked her off the bed. Either way, how much presence of mind does it take for the girlfriend to say it was an accident?

I want to say don't break up with her because yes it's crazy she didn't jump out, but first she hits her nose so hard she bleeds, and then her dad starts whipping your booty, to be honest I'm sure she was like "WTH is going on?". So I hope that everything works out between you and that her father apologized and took you to a nice dinner...
