Today, my daughter told me that she wanted to convert to Christianity. Not because she has a strong relation with God, but because she wants to post Facebook statuses about Him and "get a lot of likes." FML

I think it's OK, when you're not a Christian, to not capitalize "Him." It could be about anyone. Jim Jones. Benny Hinn. Fred Phelps.

not to distract from the real issue the OP faces, but the daughter can easily posts statuses about God and get likes without needing to be a Christian. Just like people who try to post political statuses, even when they don't know a lick of basic economics.
