Today, I came home to find that my room had been ransacked. My mom comes out of nowhere and says that we need to have a talk. I freaked out thinking it was all the empty alcohol bottles under my bed. My mom holds up the birth control and says, "I always knew you were a whore." FML

Today, I came from a 12-hour shift to find my clothes and stuff outside, and the locks changed. I called my mom to let me in and she told me, “Hell the fuck no, I’m not having a drug addicted junkie up in my house! You’re no longer my daughter!” and hung up. Apparently, she found my stash of weed. FML

Today, I came home to find my room completely torn apart. My mom and dad start yelling at me asking me why I am doing drugs because she found a tiny baggie on the floor. It was the little bag that spare buttons come in when you buy a dress shirt. FML

Today, my mom went through my drawers and found some antibiotics from Planned Parenthood. She immediately flew into a rage and told my whole family, my aunts, and her church that I was a “loose woman with a horrible disease.” The antibiotics were to treat bacterial vaginosis, not an STD at all. FML

Today, I went shopping with my mother, when someone snuck a pack of condoms into our cart while our backs were turned. When we got to the register, my mom, whose wealth makes me ineligible for financial aid, noticed the condoms and she announced that she wasn't paying for the college I got accepted to next year because she doesn't want a promiscuous daughter. FML

@28: Let's say the daughter was actually taking the BC for -medical- reasons, not for the prevention of pregnancy. Her mom told her that she "always knew" she was a *****, so how do we know she'd believe her daughter's strictly medical reasoning? She obviously doesn't trust her, so I don't think the daughter explaining (should that actually be the case) would really do much.

okay for all the people that say that they were for other problems (aka period problems cramps etc.) you should think that her mom would know that she was on the pill for these problems.

Some parents probably would refuse to put their child on it for the same reasoning. Not saying it is the case here, but it could be considering how the mom seems.

That would be like somebody finding my condoms and saying, "I knew you were getting some" There's no proof of usage, and no reason. They're just speculating, and violating your privacy. Maybe you should make up some bullshit about her and ask to go through her stuff.
