Oh God, FYL indeed. I'm severely chiroptophobic so I feel your pain. Our attic used to be infested with bats when we first moved in and I once got locked in my sisters room with one of them. I screamed myself into a frenzy and actually had a panic attack so bad I was apparently white as a sheet and hiccouphing. Another time I went down into the basement to get something and woke up a sleeping bat which flew right at my face resulting in another meltdown. Even looking at a picture of a bat brings me out in a cold sweat. Also, last summer I was riding through the countryside on my bike at dusk, when a bat flew right into the handlebars and hit me in the face. Needless to say I thought I was gonna die. So yes, FYL. If a bat flew in my workplace I would react the same, if not worse.
