Today, my boyfriend invited me over, so I went, not thinking anything of it. To my surprise, he broke up with me. I was pretty upset, and as I was leaving his mom handed me a box. When I got home, I opened it. His mom had baked me a break-up cake. FML

Today, my boyfriend, and best friend, had baked a cake, and wouldnt tell anyone who it was for. When I asked he said I'd know soon. He met me after class to break up with me and offered me the cake to make me feel better. FML

Today, I was making out with my boyfriend. When we took a break and went downstairs, he checked the mail. He had received a letter from his ex-girlfriend, which he opened in front of me. He then began sobbing on my shoulder and broke up with me. He still had to drive me home. FML

Today, I got a phone call from my mother asking me if I was okay. Confused, I asked her what she meant. She then told me that my boyfriend had broken up with me, and she just wanted to make sure I was handling it alright. I had to find out my relationship was over from my mom. FML

YDI. Breaking up is part of life. If you can't get used to it, then don't date people. And there's nothing wrong with getting a cake. This is not worthy for a fml

So what? Who cares? People break up all the time. What, would you rather he cheat on you before breaking up with you? This is stupid. You got a cake and a reasonable break-up with no hard feelings. What's the FML? There are other fish in the ocean as they say.

Man I just don't see the downpart to this. You got out of a relationship that was going to be doomed anyway, you got a free cake, and now you have a story to tell later in life. I mean...unless it was carrot cake or something then I'd totally be hyped about it. Also...#26, that was some interesting situation that was made there. If I was that guy...all I could think would be touché madame.
