JFox: haha, totally plausible. You're probably right. Nothing would piss of a fan more than "who cares its all the same". xD
#268- Oh, right. Because when someone chooses to not learn about a tiny piece of pop culture, this automatically means they're a clueless bimbo. Wow. I wish you chilluns had the same logic when it comes to people not knowing the difference between The Civil War and WW11. Jeeeesus. #248- Yes, because it's entirely logical to assume that you can either be knowledgeable about a tinyyy piece of pop culture, or you're not into anything but yourself. What a tiny, tiny brain you must have.
lol @ 9. Im surprised that somewhere along the way you haven't been clued in. I mean come on! The difference is huge. It sounds like you don't have anything in common with this guy, and it was only one date (which by the sound of it couldn't really have been that great of a date. Did you two have anything at all in common?) so don't make a big deal of it. And please save yourself some embarrassment in the future and learn the difference. I am a fan of both, but one of my best friends doesn't care about either. At least she knows the difference and thats good enough for me. It probably would have been enough for him too, especially on the first date. #277 — We haven't had world war eleven yet, next time to create the roman numeral 2 use two uppercase I's, like so: WWII. Its less confusing. And I hope everyone (in the US and possibly most Europe and probably most of the rest as well) know the difference between the civil war and WWII. That was a terrible choice for an anally.
Don't feel bad. If he's not going to date you because you don't know the difference, it's not _your_ loss.
At least he's being honest in what he's looking for. Common interest. You fail for not knowing the basics of two VERY POPULAR Movies/TV shows.
My dumb girlfriend dragged me to that with these geeky kids who I knew totally liked her. (Cause she's an asian girl, and geeks love anime). And like, it lasted two and a half hours and it was the gayest movie ever. It wasn't an FML though cause I got loads of sexual favors for putting up with it.

How do you not know the difference? YDI. I'm a girl, and I'd dump you for that. It's proof positive that your interests clash.
Guess the Force wasn't with you
