Lose-lose situation

By suckerrrrr - This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I bought a top, along with some other things. I went to the restroom and had diarrhea, but there was no toilet paper in the stall. I had to use the receipt from the store. I then realized the clerk hadn't put the top in the bag. I needed that receipt to get the top. FML

That's just really crappy situation. Sucks.

That's why you check before using the toilet :). But a receipt?? Really?? That wouldn't even do much good... with diarrhea, you have to wipe like a billion times :P. I would've just waited until a person came in lol.

Well there's nothing you can do now.

loool #6 FYL, this is why u should always carry a bottle with u just in case u gotta fill it up with water to clean ur azz

That's just nasty. At least you didn't have to use the stuff you bought to wipe it up!

FAKE!!!!!!!! 1. How would you not notice if the cashier didn't put anything in the bag? You would've noticed that the bag she gave you was extremely light. Unless you're an idiot and you don't notice these kinds of things. 2. I doubt a receipt would be enough to wipe your ass with. Unless that receipt happened to be a foot long (in which case you would've bought many items). Either way you look at it, its fake.

I would have yelled for someone to get me some toilet paper. And a receipt isn't absorbent enough and it probably not very comfortable... If yelling doesn't work, next time flush the toilet, use your hand (WAY better and more efficient than a receipt) and wash your hand in the 'clean' toilet water, then rewash your hand in the sink.

If you told the clerk that he didn't put the top in the bag (and I'm sure he would've noticed a top on the counter at the register after you paid) wouldn't that solve everything? But FYL for using a receipt as toilet paper. What if something happened to the clothes you bought? Guess you're just gonna have to keep it.

#34 did you even read it? It clearly states that she bought multiple items. So yes it would be easy to miss an item, and yes the receipt might have been very long. The receipt also could have been very long if it included lots of coupons at the bottom, as some stores do.

Was anyone else steeling themselves for her 'using' the T-shirt? This starts grim and just keeps getting grimmer. Just the fact that crapping yourself in the changing room isn't the whole thing is depressing.

#34, like other people said, she bought other items, so the bag wasn't completely empty. And the receipt might not have been enough to clean everything, but it at least would have gotten the bulk off and she could clean the rest when she got home.
