Just because a person is blind doesn't mean they don't know what somebody looks like. There's a really good chance they've been told what their caretaker looks like. You know, in case they need help finding them.
oooppps lol at least u had good intentions
My mom said she once told her blind room-mate to "go look at the clock --oops!" when asked what the time was. The room-mte was actually pleased, because it meant she was treated like a normal person rather than being "blind Annie". Besides, if you're trying to be helpful it's a reasonable question. Don't beat yourself up.
haha that's funny. He really should ask her what she looks like at some point though. It would make it a lot easier for people to find her if that ever happens again.
grr a slip of your tongue. i feel bad for ya
I'm suuuuuuure he described to you what she looked like.

It's a normal question anyone would ask, without thinking. I'm sure it didn't upset him. Not a big deal.
Tee hee. Although, it wouldn't surprise me if he did know what his caretaker looked like. He may have known a brief description, for situations like this. Still funny though. :D
