Today, was my 16th birthday and I was supposed to be surprised with a new car. I have overheard my parents talking about bringing it home tonight while I was at a friend's house. We snuck back to my house to see them bring my car home. All I saw was my Dad crash my new car into a street lamp. FML

well maybe they dont love you anymore or your parents are physic and can see the future and like your gonna die :) or maybe you arent good enough for them or you have ugly shoes there can be many reasons for this. aye don't feel to bad happens to everyone once n a while.

FYL for getting such a morbid gift, while your parents may want to get you a plot next to where they will be one day it's just not an appropriate celebratory gift - You deserve it for setting such high expectations as to a gift. Cars cost lots of money, I don't know why teenagers expect them free - When I was 18 my mom said "You need a car to get to school", took me shopping and I ended up using all of MY savings on a down payment and just finally paid the damn thing off. . .I don't think any of my friends got cars from their parents come to think of it. Especially at your age birthdays become less about presents - My parents I thought were extremely generous and for the last few years would pay 1 car payment on my birthday [ $200 ] but now that that is over I get a dvd or two, which I'm fine with.

1) I comment on about [3-4] new FMLs per day. . .With a few dozen being released each day. 2) While some people bitch and moan about my long comments or whatever I typically see VERY positive responses and personal messages so, I don't care. 3) You're not required to read a single thing I write. 4) Every personal experience I write about correlates to the FML posted as a segway to depicting my point - Now, if you're not smart enough to find my point I'm sorry.
