Ah, appendisitis is a bitch. But don't worry, I got mine out a few months ago, and if they take it out laproscopically (through your belly button) it'll just be a teeny scar. And then you can't expose it to sunlight or go swimming for a year, but I swam and nothings happened so far.
It happens to a lot of people. Even if you had gone to the hospital when you first started having pains, you would have still had to wait because most of the time doctor rules out everything else before suspecting appendicitis because more than 60% of the time, appendicitis is wrongly diagnosed and they go in and realize that they were wrong. They couldn't give you pain killers either because even if it is suspected, pain killers and infects the appendix faster so you would have still been in pain. The outcome would have relatively been the same, however I wish you a speedy recovery and good luck.
Aww, my mom just had surgery for this, it's terrible. Get lots of fluids, op.
Been there. Not fun. Hang in there, bud!
I had to have a colonoscipy because my appendix was off center also i had horrible pains for the next 6 months and my dad wouldnt get up to go to the hospital when i did have appendicitua
My mom almost died from that. I hope your mom feels bad. Just saying. Mom doesn't always know best. Get better dude.
Same thing happened to me. Except my wife wouldn't listen to me I had to drive myself to the hospital.

Be lucky you're not telling us this beyond the grave with and epitaph reading: "I told you it wasn't the flu!" on your tombstone.
Praying for you, OP. hope a speedy recovery is in your future!
