Manlet issues

Today, my best friend confessed to having feelings for me. I've been in love with her for a long time, so I was ecstatic. She doesn't see herself ever going out with me, though, because she's a couple of inches taller and can't imagine herself "towering" over her man. FML

If she's willing to give up the guy she likes for a height difference then that's just pathetic.

Hold on. She actually said that she had feelings for you. And you like her too. Can you give me one good reason why you didn't kiss her on the spot?

Man up dude tell her to quit worying about the petty shit and take her out. Take the lead and don't be wishy washy. I love tall women and I'm average. Remeber this, big balls make up for short legs

He can't "man up" and take her out if she doesn't want him to. As silly as it is to reject someone because of their height, he can't exactly force her to go on a date with him.

Being taller than a man makes a woman feel masculine and like she's the guy in the relationship... Personal experience

That sucks OP, personally, I'll date a shorter guy, and I'll still wear heels to boot(or on my boots as the case may be). My rule is I just don't want to strain my neck to look a guy in the eyes, this goes for both taller and shorter. Now I'd understand if she just wasn't attracted to shorter guys, but clearly this isn't the case, since she does like you, so I find it very strange/stupid that she's still letting height get in the way. Also, speaking from experience, a couple inches is hardly "towering over" someone.

Sorry about that OP. Let her know that shorter men know how to use angles when "it counts".

Dude! Make a move! Dont let that comment steer you away! The feelings are mutual OP im sure she'll deal with it!

I can't help but feeling like that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
