OP, you are making too big of a deal out of it. Some people are just not into celebrating anniversaries. And it has nothing to do with him being a male. I am a female and yet I can never remember any anniversaries, my boyfriend's birthday, or any other "important" dates. If celebrating your anniversary is important to you then organize a celebration for you and your husband and tell him about it. Don't expect him to surprise you with a celebration.
I thought right when a woman asks what day it is, men start guessing if it's her birthday or their anniversary lol
I always forget my anniversary. So now my husband reminds me. Ugh.. Whatever
I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years. He has never once remembered an anniversary or a birthday. I have to remind him something is coming up a few weeks in advance. We have an 18 month old daughter. I'm just happy he didn't forget her birthday. He's horrible at remembering dates. A lot of men tend to forget important dates. Forgive him and let him make it up to you.
'Til death do you part, right? Then in the grand scheme of things your 6 year anniversary is not that special. I don't really get the big deal behind an anniversary anyway. You're celebrating managing to stay together for one more year when you've vowed to be together for all your years?
Let's cut guys some slack. They're busy and even though they love their sig others, they forget. This is why you have to remind them at 4 key times: "Baby! I can't wait for our anniversary! It's only [1 month, 2 weeks, 1 week, 1 day] away!" After that, if he forgets, it's unforgivable.
Thats what guys do believe it or not
I've forgotten my anniversary before, but I'm a female and men tend to be more forgiving of such things. Don't let it completely ruin your day!
