Maybe your boyfriend got weirded out because he finally discovered that you're an infant... I mean really that's kind of an awkward way to find out, in a text message from your dad
#68 FTW! Ahahahaha!
My dad calls me baby, there isn't anything weird there. However my bf also calls me baby. There are different meanings. And if your parents are divorced, you don't always get to see your dad so you HOPE to see them? OP: Maybe you should think about a bf who doesn't go into a jealous rage where he is too blinded to read the word "Dad" above the text? Just a thought.
Why does your bf look at your personal shit anyways.
i'd like to see the look on his face when you explain to him who the text was from. lol. you totally talk to him, and if he doesn't get it, i guess u can ask ur dad to tell him it was him.
Not everyone calls their parents "mom" and "dad". Some people just call them by their names; she might have saved his number under his first name. Maybe they don't have the closest relationship, had a hard time, whatever? That could be a reason for him not being sure if they'll meet. Or, you know, he could be on a business trip, not knowing how much time he'll have. She could be busy herself ... There are so many ways in which the message would not be strange at all. I mean, I can understand why the bf thought it was a rival, but he could have said something instead of just running away. Oh, and I don't think there's anything wrong with fathers calling their daughter "Baby".
Call and explain. Simple, right? Did he not see "dad" under "sender" in the text message? And why is he reading your text messages? I have nothing to hide, but I HATE when people go through my text messages. It's an invasion of privacy.

Ouch, that sucks! He should have given you a chance to explain :( Seriously, who pressed "YDI"? How does she deserve that in any way?
That just seems weird that your dad says "Hey Baby"... But still, not really a FYL. Show him the sender; he'll be apologizing like crazy.
