Today, I saw a woman breastfeeding her child at the local park. That would have been just fine if the child wasn't at least 8 years-old. FML

Yeah, I'm all for breast milk, but that's too old! If the kid can drink from a cup, I say pump and dump.

Why do people always think breastfeeding is incestuous / pedophilic, and wil cause the child to become a "psycho"? First, breastfeeding is NOT SEXUAL. It's what breasts were designed for, it's just that our over-sexualised society has changed the way we see them. Second, find me one single psychopathic murderer who was breastfed. Bet you can't!

if you check above I was defending breastfeeding, but at this age it could cause severe personality disorders and may cause an unnatural sexual attachment to the mother. most psychopaths have similar relationships with their mothers. I never said that the child would but if he/she developed these issues then they could become a psycho. oh and by the way please don't speak unless you are going to say something reasonable. don't let your obsession with defending breastfeeding cause you to look like an ass.

The ignorance of your comment strikes me. Find you one psychopathic murderer who was breastfed? Only one? Oh, I'm sure a good number of them were, considering the percentage of mothers who breastfeed their children as opposed to those who don't is nearly 50/50...nearly...The percentage of those that do is slightly higher. Not saying that breastfeeding does cause your child to grow into a "psycho"...Not saying that at all. Actually, that notion sounds even more ridiculous than your implication that breastfeeding magically keeps your kid from becoming a psychopath. Here's another little fact for you, psychopathy is a mental disorder present from birth, so it doesn't matter whether you breastfeed them or not. If they're born a psychopath, they're born a psychopath, and there's nothing you can do about it except try to cope with it.

Vaginas were really just designed for pushing out babies, but our society has somehow made them ~sexual too. Poor misunderstood body parts. It would be impossible to consider that they might have more than one function!

That's just disgusting. I am all for babies being breastfed, but do it so no one sees anything, and don't do it for a kid that can stand up while they eat. And to the ones saying that feeding in the bathroom is stupid, come on. It's not like the kid is eating off of the toilet. They put their mouth on Mommys boob, which has been in her bra under her shirt. You're being ridiculous.
