Today, my sister went into a blind rage at me for "upstaging" her by announcing that I'm pregnant, two months after she did the same. My husband and I have been trying for two years. She's in high school and doesn't even know who the father is. FML

Tell her not to worry, your boring ol' planned pregnancy within the confines of marriage doesn't have the verve and panache of a promiscuous teenager getting knocked up by a random dude. Her pregnancy is way cooler!

no, that's not. I haven't screamed at someone for trying to upstage me. (and my cousin just got engaged :) ) pregnancy doesn't excuse women from being any more bitchy than they normally are.

This is like when 2 of my unmarried, unstable sisters gave birth 3 months before my wedding. They got a meticulously planned out beautiful baby shower, and I got a half ass brunch thrown together at literally the last second for my bridal shower.
