Today, I finally confessed to the guy I've liked for two years. I told him that I've really liked him for a long time, and that I knew he had a girlfriend and I didn't expect anything from him, I just wanted him to know. His response? "Are you done? 'Cause I need to go to the bathroom." FML

Ditto #42. You say you weren't expecting anything to come from it, but honestly? If you're in love with the guy then you obviously hoped revealing how you felt would change his mind. But YDI for confessing your feelings while he's already attached.

"and just wanted him to know" Riiiiiiight...as if there's no ulterior motive to "just wanting a guy to know." If the OP was truly indifferent about getting a response from her crush, why would she need or care for him to know about how she felt?
