Today, I finally confessed to the guy I've liked for two years. I told him that I've really liked him for a long time, and that I knew he had a girlfriend and I didn't expect anything from him, I just wanted him to know. His response? "Are you done? 'Cause I need to go to the bathroom." FML

Today, after finally having the guts to confess to a guy I have liked for a year now and him saying he also likes me and then asking me out, I went out of my way and traveled 4 hours to meet him. He didn't show up and never apologized. I never heard anything from him. FML

Just when I thought he was finally going to ask me to be his girlfriend, he told me that he's actually had a girlfriend for 3 years now, but was too afraid to tell me because he really likes me. FML

YDI for pouring your heart out to a guy that's taken. You never do that. It's tactless, pushy and reeks of ulterior motives. Getting brushed off like that may hurt, but relationships are hard enough to maintain with people like you saying things you shouldn't.

Sometimes someone just needs a push out of a bad relationship. I told my girl I liked her while she had a boyfriend, but she dumped him and decided I was a better choice. I mean, if you're happier with someone else... once you go gay, you just don't stray. (; What if OP is a man?
