I sound a lot younger when I am on the phone my father's stupid financial advisor would always say "Hi sweetie is daddy there can you get him for me, go get daddy" in a really sooky and whiny voice. I am sorry about your parents, it must have been really awful finding out like that, maybe you could anwer the phone by saying "Hello this is (your name) speaking who do you wish to speak to ?" I know it is very formal but it will help you by not being mistaken for your Mother.

FYL indeed. Sorry about the divorce, as long as your parents are reasonable it should be tolerable. Confusing your voice isn't so bad though, voices get changed over the phone and a lot of people think I'm my dad.

Lol within a year I went from being mistaken for my mom to being mistaken for my dad. I was 12 then though. To all the people saying teens can't spell or use grammar, stfu, not all teens are idiots, just a small few that give others a bad reputation. OP, that sucks, but the majority of my friends have divorced parents, and they've seemed to handle it pretty well, so good luck to you.
