Today, my friends and I went camping in the woods. I fell asleep first. Waking up hours later to them bunched up together in the middle of the tent and me half-way outside, I confronted them about it. They admitted, "We heard a bear so we needed a sacrifice." FML

Today, I was started my week of camping alone in the woods. I took my shoes off to go to sleep, but I had to come out to get water. I stepped on a wasp, and while I was standing on one foot looking at the sting, I realized I was in an ant pile. I'm allergic to both. FML

Today, I helped my parents out by tearing down the old, rusty swing set that's been in our backyard for years. Little did I know that there was a beehive hidden in the long grass, and I now have dozens of painful red bumps all over me. FML

Today, I went on a hike with friends, but as I'm the worst outdoorsperson because I rarely venture outside of the city, I ended up getting lost in some woods after straying from our group. I ended up having to call 911 to be rescued. My friends will absolutely not let me live this ordeal down. FML

Today, a bee landed on my leg. I didn't realize it was there until my friend yelled out, "Bee!" kicked me in the leg, and ran off. I fell to the ground screaming and clutching my leg. She missed the bee and it still stung me. FML

Aside from young children I don't know who could really sleep so hard that they could be "carried deep into the forest" without waking up. Hope there is never a fire in your home while you are sleeping. And about the bees, if the story is real, I would find something equally dangerous or unpleasant and place it inside the tent with your "friends". Make sure you zip the door back up, then sit back and get a good laugh!

I remember a girl who fell fast asleep at 9ish (very early considering that the rest of us barely slept that night) at my middle school's lock in. A bunch of others girls carried her out the way because they felt she was in the way. The poor girl woke up wondering where she was and how she got there. Trust me, some people are hard sleepers.

Next time you go camping, bring a spray bottle with sugar water and honey mixed in it. Wait till they got to sleep and spray them lightly with it, on their sleeping bags, around them, everywhere. See how long it takes for the ants to start biting. Then laugh. Or just put inching powder in their sleeping bags if you can do it without getting noticed.

It's set as the location by default, so if the OP doesn't specify otherwise, history is rewritten and they decided to immigrate to Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.
