Today, I submitted my application to a restaurant as a server. The manager, who is more than 30 years older than me, said he'd be calling me. He later texted me asking for a date instead of giving me a job. FML

Anyone making fun of the manager for being gay is a complete ********. Hating someone for being gay is like hating someone for being black, you're hating someone for something thats NOT THIER FAULT. So shut the **** up. If you're some preachy religious asshole I don't wanna ******* hear you because nowhere in the Bible does it say that it is a sin to be homosexual. I agree that there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay or lesbian or bi or pan or even trans. The only problem here is that this situation is very much like a thirty-year-oldER man asking a much younger woman for a date instead of giving her a job she asked for. It's just that in this case, the manager doesn't roll that way. It's basically the same thing, though, and it's usually not considered appropriate to approach a new aspiring co-worker, of whom you happen to be the superior/boss/manager of, and ask them for a date instead of giving them the job. Right?

that's ******* nasty. and the youngest age in California to get a job is 16, so the manager has to be at LEAST in his late 40's to 50's ._. Ew.

Umm Actually SEVERAL times the Bible condemns Homosexuality! Transexualism is ok morally but Homosexual behavior is deviant and abhorrent. Its not so much that it is deviant and abhorrent so much as it is 'unnatural' by the fact that the relations between the two men or two women cannot result in children, which is sort of the natural point of the joining. The Catholic Church today preaches that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, but they cannot physically act on it. And different Christian churches preach different things concerning the Bible. Also if you read the Bible and the Koran literally, it advocates things that are not really acceptable in todays society. Such as the Koran allows up to 5 wives I believe (I have not read it, this is just what I have discussed with my Muslim friends) and at one point I believe the Bible says that it is a sin for a man to have long hair. --I do not want to put bad information so please feel free to correct me if needed

@30, fun fact: eating shellfish is condemned in the bible in the exact same way that being homesexual is... ergo you cannot condemn homosexuals.
