Nice try

Today, after two months of unemployment, I got a call from a marketing firm offering me an interview for an entry-level position. While Googling the company, I discovered it's a scam. I graduated college in 3 years with a 3.5 GPA, and the only interview I can get is at a fake company. FML

good catch, at least. imagine if you went and were scammed. THAT would have been a real FML. This is an FML with a bright side

I fail to see how you're the victim in this situation. I'm going to guess a buisiness major.

A 3.5 is an A- and a 2.0 is straight C's

That sucks. If it's any consolation, the only job I've been offered recently is as a guy's sexetary. (A person who's paid to be a guy's secretary and have sex with him). But I've yet to graduate college. Needless to say, I turned that job down. There's still time, don't lose hope.

Maybe u should have gone to a better college

Sorry #22, I don't know what kind of high school you go to, but I've never heard of a 3.5 being straight Cs. Typically, a 2.0 is indicative of straight Cs.

It's tough out there right now. I just graduated too and have sent my resume to 30 different places in the past month and a half with only about 5 or 6 who have responded back, all with the same message of no new hires. Stay positive man, you'll get a job before you know it.

I'm sorry to hear. If it makes you feel any better, I graduated with a molecular bio degree and the only company that called me for an interview was for customer's service. I never even applied for that position. #22 Is yours out of 5.0 because otherwise that makes absolutely no sense. I think GPA 3.5/4.0 is an A and a 3.2/4.0 is an A-.

@ angeldo6695 An F can really bring down your average. But graduating with a 3.5 is really good, so don't compare middle school grades with college grades.

It doesn't matter what school he went to. Those who went to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc... can't get jobs out there with the way the economy is. Unless you go to school for a career that the country is in dire need of, good luck trying to find a job.

You coulda been working FOR the scammers. Hey, a job is a job. Don't write them off so quick.
