Today, if it wasn't already embarrassing enough to tell my boyfriend I was on my period, I had to explain what a period is in the first place, how it works, and why it means nothing can happen during that time of the month. He's twenty. FML

Today, at work, I had to explain to my co-manager at work what a period was, after he refused to let an employee go change her tampon. Afterwards, he panicked, saying he thought women made that up so they didn't have to have sex, before trying to send her to the hospital and fainting. We're 24. FML

Did you ever think that he never had any sisters, and that his mom died or left when he was young? And that maybe he never went through a health class? I never went through one. And my biology teacher skipped that section in 9th grade. So maybe it's not all his fault.
