Today, the guy I liked choked in his haste to confirm that, yes, we are a couple. FML. ...am I missing something?
#24 The problem is that the writer doesn't know the meaning of the tern "in no uncertain terms". She saw the word "no" and assumed it was another way to say no. It's not, but she's trying to say he was denying a relationship.
Dear everybody correcting the op's grammar, Her post says, "by no uncertain terms WERE WE together." Not the "we were" most of you are trying to imply. If you're going to correct someone's grammar, please make sure you've read it right first. Kaythxbai.
That just makes even less sense.
Omg i can relate to this so much, it hurts so bad.
I agree with #5 from personal experience.
26 - It is STILL grammatically incorrect and a confusing sentence to read. kthxbye
I'm sorry that happened to you... but your comma usage is so wrong! I had to read it several times to figure out what you were saying. Ergo, I'm sending a 'You deserved that one' your way.

This is phrased really badly. I can't tell if he was saying no or yes, because you used the phrase "in no uncertain terms" it makes it seem like he choked while saying yes you are together.
He probably did that because he does like you and wants to be protected against any rejection embarrassment. Sure it's a dick move, but so many people do this because humans are ****** and stupid always.
