That's really, really gross. My five year old sister knows to brush her teeth every day. That's just ridiculous, and completely unhygienic of you, OP. Dental health equates to overall health, you really should work on the whole dental hygiene thing.

Don't get me wrong, its pretty bad in today's day and age not to brush your teeth, but seriously people, a toothbrush and toothpaste are not parts of our evolutionary biology. People survived for thousands of years sans toothbrush and toothpaste. That being said, please keep at least a few meters away from me.

Actually, NOT REALLY! Archeological discoveries strongly suggest that cavemen used salt for cleaning teeth (pretty effective, btw, bonus is a mild whitening effect), this many millennia ago. That with the Middle ages people forgot hygiene is another thing altogether.

It was with the advent of grains heavily introduced in the human diet that tooth problems became rampant. Uni of York in the UK actually does a small course on dietary evolution and how it affected humans overall.

You're supposed to brush your dog's teeth. Otherwise they can get build-up and it can lead to dental problems, just like with humans.
