Oddly specific

Today, my house was broken into. The burglar didn't steal my brand new laptop, iPad or TV. They instead made off with every single item of clothing I own. When I went to turn on my TV to try and distract myself from this, I found all of the cables in back missing. The police don't believe me. FML

How could the police not believe you, the police have to help. Try asking for different officers to report this to.

Looks like you've really been stripped naked.

The perfect crime. Similar happens over here (Belfast), but they take stuff out of your fridge...odd

Gotta give to the burglars though. Very clever

Well no one in the right mind would believe that no expesive was stolen

The person who did this invested some energy figuring out how you react to stressors and took something very personal: you know this person. Police tend to let the two people work things out. Good luck with that..!

Clothes are easy to pawn without raising much attention, and HDMI cables are expensive.

#80, going around naked would be based on where you live. If you live on/near a nudist community/beach, I'd say you might be ok. The tv cables would be worse to me over the clothes out of what was stolen. Laptop would be the worst thing to get stolen for me. As a gamer, my computer/components tend to be expensive, so it would cost a lot more to replace this than anything else. Also, thrift store clothes are expensive, but you can buy cheap clothes the day you are robbed until your belongings are found. If they cannot be found, then you can slowly start to purchase your thrift store clothes again as you get the money.

Looks like some teenagers were inspired by the new Sofia Coppola's movie. Do you happen to be famous? I feel sorry for you though, you always feel so bad after something like that happen. :-/

Somebody obviously is very upset with you, that isn't a normal break-in. You most likely know who robbed you.
