Oddly specific

Today, my house was broken into. The burglar didn't steal my brand new laptop, iPad or TV. They instead made off with every single item of clothing I own. When I went to turn on my TV to try and distract myself from this, I found all of the cables in back missing. The police don't believe me. FML

How could the police not believe you, the police have to help. Try asking for different officers to report this to.

Looks like you've really been stripped naked.

I can live without clothes but not the damn the damn tv wires. Those are the worst to replace.

My God it has to be friends pulling a prank! Why would any steal the cables, they are inexpensive & have no resale value?!

That's actually pretty smart on the burglar's part. TV Cables are easy to make off with and fetch a pretty decent price on eBay.

And what of the clothes? Not much of a secondhand market there unless they were designer brands. Whoever did this was an idiot or not doing it for money.

Just a hunch, but if I were you, I'd buy a new toothbrush and wear rubber gloves when disposing of the old one. How many urban legends can this guy carry out in one shot?

Sounds like your friends played a joke on you...

Call a lawyer, then call that police officer's district house and file a complaint. Demand another officer be sent out. Call the news. Call the County sheriff if you have to. Call everybody in the freaking phone book.

Thank god my tv wires are in my wall! Try ripping that out!

That sounds more like a stalker rather than a burglar! Be careful! Seriously.

At least you still have the clothes you were wearing.
