Why is everyone assuming OP only has one pair of shoes?

I just don't understand why these types of FMLs get alot more YDIs than FYLs. Why? Even though the wallet shouldn't have been in his shoe, there still is going to be times when the nervous system seemingly cannot sense him feeling the wallet inside the shoe. There've been times where I have lost my phone but later saw that it was in my hand the whole time but did not feel or notice it. The OP was 99% focused on something else and did not feel the wallet in his shoe when he first lost it. Don't get me started with the 'He deserves it for having the wallet in his shoe' excuse. He may have accidently dropped it in his shoe without noticing it. People who says he deserves it needs to understand that we all do things that are stupid in life. Unless it was something unintelligible like not realizing that an item was a sticker, it's normal and happens rarely.

Something similar happened to me back in 07 and it turned out my wallet had dropped behind my dresser but I ended up getting fired for being late to work(I had the supervisor permission to be late due to requiring an ID at all times rule in my job)
