If he's inexperienced, I can see how he might have misinterpreted that as being critical. I'm sure all the above posters blasting him would put Ron Jeremy to shame, but being a good lover isn't something that comes naturally. Your boyfriend could use a bit of "education". Work with him a bit and after several sessions you'll be in a better position to decide whether he's got a shot.
