$750,000 should do it.
That actually happened with me once! I told them the same thing
I am sorry to everyone who is screaming sue or ydi. I am friends with OP and was with him when it happened. He told the nurse numerous times that it was cutting/burning him, the nurse dismissed him everytime. It was definately cut/burnt from the saw as it is one long line all the way up his arm to his hand, there are blisters too. So for anyone saying he had skin lesions, skin disorders get your fact right because this IS NOT the case. I dont see how he deserved this, and he isnt putting the blame on the nurse, he was merely saying how it panned out.
They're only saying he deserved it to be moronic assholes. It's like the idiots who go around on youtube marking every single comment on every video they watch as spam. They're just doing it because they're dumbasses who think it's hilarious. They simply have no lives. Ignore them.
@125: ...Which could have aggravated the area, already sore from the blisters, and torn skin. It's possible there were blisters before from the cast rubbing up and down on the arm, just from regular movement. This type of movement seems like it would be minimal, though. I know if my skin's rubbed too much, blisters will form and then they will bleed if I keep walking in my new shoes, for example.
Not that it really matter to you small minded *******, but he did get burnt from the saw, and cut. The blade did not vibrate but actually spun around, and it was left in same positions for awhile. HE had NO skin conditions, he DID NOT put anything down the cast to scratch EVER....cotton wool will not stop a saw cutting skin. It was not bed sores, or blisters from the plaster rubbing. It was clearly from the saw, it is only along the line of where the saw cut the plaster, it was red raw and weeping, not dried flaky skin. And to those saying that if he was getting cut or burnt he would be yelling and screaming well your wrong, he has a very high pain tolerance. And just because all of you are babies doesnt mean other people cant deal with pain.
Red raw and weeping? So it wasn't even serious. Were you with him the entire time? 24/7 since he got the cast on? No. Not even his family would have been there every second of every day.
okay dumbass, have you ever heard of a bed sore, its a blistered or bloody spot on the skin caused by underoxidation meaning the skin stops building in those places because the brain thinks it safe to its not burns or cuts and if it were you wouldnt have calmly told the nurse you would've been squealing and yelling it at her the is no lawsuit possible from this and if you try to sue this is exactly what they will tell you
Should be fired for being such a fail ass nurse =(
OMG ._.
That same thig happened to me a couple years ago but I just got a 2 inch cut on my wrist cause of it that healed in a couple hours but nothing that bad.
