They already had the needle in. No difference between getting some blood first or pullling it out immediatly. The red cross women told the truth and you should not say they stole your blood, as they didn't. According to you, you asked for the needle to be taken out, which is what they did. And who panics because of a needle.
...lots of people??
#9 Don't try play that guilt card. Not everyones blood goes to worthy causes. What about the drunk driver who causes a 10 car pileup and you are the only blood match for them. Or the murderer who got shanked in jail and needs your blood to pull through. So don't try play that card unless you are going to show both sides of the story. To the OP, that sucks. But at least you got a cookie right?
How is it not a worthy cause to save a life? No matter how horrible a person is, no life is worth denying. The only reason to destroy is because someone is receiving the death penalty, otherwise each life is precious. If this murderer or drunk was made to die right then how would the ever feel guilt so that they could turn their hearts and souls over to the one and only true God. Also you are never the only blood match. You may be the only perfect blood match but there is always an O- out there to be a match for anyone.
213, stop playing the 'god' card when trying to argue with unflawed logic. You will never win, if you sound like a moron. Which you do.
You're a pussy I gave platelets two days ago (two needles) and the one injecting blood back into my body slipped sent fluid into my skin. Hurt like shit but you don't see me being a **** about it. Stop complaining and be glad you could help someone who is in desperate need of your blood
Well... Youre being a **** about it right now, though...
I'm sorry. but thats a little funny. And if you were having a panic attack, taking the needle out may have been a little difficult, seeing as a) ur blood pressure and pulse were probably through the roof so you would have bled more than most ppl when they take the needle out, which would only serve to worsen ur panic attack and b) the ingoing and outgoing moments are the only ones that sting any, the sting of taking it out would again worsen the panic attack. At the same time, it reminds me of my first time i gave blood. I hadn't eaten anything that day so I wound up almost passing out before they got enough. Now I always drink a gatorade or something beforehand
If you can't watch someone putting a needle in your arm then look the other way. It's the hardest thing when donating blood. Since you didn't faint, the nurse did the right thing with not treating you like a pussy.
How did they steal it when you were clearly there donating?
you're a drain on our society the red cross did not STEAL your blood. they'd already stuck the needle in, were you going to deprive someone of life saving blood? also, #24, regardless of whether its a drunk driver or a 2 yr old child, each human life deserves equal chance to live. but then i'm not american and the general populace of my country has respect for human life =]
I do have to argue that not all or even most Americans have no regard for life. As a whole other countries tend to see the bad in one another and they do notice the good because they are to busy finding bad things to say. Its just like the tests they give to see which countries are smarter. Its not an accurate test when you comapare China and America. China's schools only allow the children with seen capabilities, talent, and smarts to continue school, while America requires that every child and adolecent attends school. So such tests are testing the best of China, and the entire population of the American children. Seems unreasonable doesnt it?
what do you mean the "stole" it? were they going to pay you for it before you had your "panic attack"? (btw, "panic attacks" are not a real thing)

HAHAHA!! I'm a fan of any FML that says "the Red Cross stole a pint of my blood..." Good times.
i gave blood in novermber last year and i can faintly remember a clause in all that paperwork that said if at any time you change your mind about giving they will stop the procedure. it sucks that they did that to you. i hope it doesnt deter you from giving blood in the future. its for a good cause. and no. 6 you are a jerk : /
