Today, I thought it would be a great idea to tell my coworker to calm down when he appeared to be very uptight. He thought it would be a great idea to punch me right in the face. FML

While telling someone who is agitated to "Calm down" never works, it's an fyl. If he had a more appropriate like just briefly shooting metaphorical daggers from his eyes before continuing to be agitated or briefly snapping "Don't tell me to calm down", it'd be more a ydi.
