Today, I had a surprise birthday party thrown in my honor. All of my friends and family had been invited, and all of the details were perfect. Who threw the party for me? My ex-girlfriend who I dumped last week for "not being thoughtful enough." FML

I like a woman to make me home-made cookies unannounced as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't dump her because she wasn't correctly predicting when and how I was expecting to be surprised by her. Men don't expect their women to be mindreaders. If they want something, they either ask or they do it themselves. This sounds like it was written by a woman pretending to be a man.

She sure showed you! Did you take her back for being thoughtful!? YDI because you broke up with the one person who was at your party. She was probably waiting for the right moment to be thoughtful and you had to go and dump her! Way to go. YDI indeed. I hope you thanked her tons for being the only one there. You were very stupid to dump someone who did that for you. I hope you learned your lesson here!
