Today, working at a daycare centre, when packing up the kids' beds after sleep time, I slipped and landed in a puddle. Of urine. I had no spare pants. I had to wear them for the rest of my shift. FML

I work at a daycare center and I've done that before. It was right after nap time & I knelt down to help fold up a little girl's mat, and she'd peed all over the mat and the floor. My boss had to send her assistant out to buy me a spare pair of pants. It was gross!

I keep a full change of clothing at work, and I don't even work with small children. You simply never know when something's gonna happen. Be Prepared Folks!

Oh man, early learning is a joy. Always bring extra clothes! There'll always be something gross to clean up!

No need to feel awkward, strap a few diapers or blankets/sheets together & wear them while you get your clothes cleaned...Since your working @ a daycare center, you'll fit right in!

you damn foreign people need to learn how to spell. england must have been high when they decided that 'centre' is pronounded center... looks like 'centray" which happens to not be a word(just saying in case you foreign people dont know that)

#86 Are you trying to be ironic? 'pronounded'? FYL!!

I've worked in daycares for years and been pooped on, peed on, barfed on and stepped in many puddles of pee AND poop, wearing only socks.

Could you have gone to the restroom and washed the urine out of your clothes? I once had to wash my son's clothes out on the way to pee wee basketball practice after he had diahrea in his pants in the men's restroom.
