Today, my parents fought over who gets the dog when they divorce. Nothing has been said about where my brother and I will live when they split. FML

The dog can't chose, so they have to decide. When they actually divorce they'll probably just let you chose.

Don't take it personally OP, when people are that unhappy they fight about little things as if they mean a lot. They're unhappy and frustrated doesn't mean they don't love you!

I'm fairly sure your parents have chosen to have a conversation as important as where the children will go behind closed doors. Or like an earlier poster mentioned that perhaps you are both old enough to pick for yourself.
