Today, I went to go see a specialist for my prostate and was told he would have to do an exam before I could leave. Having had this checked just the previous year, I was more than a little irritated. As I was bent over the table the Dr. said, "Now, just pretend I'm Angelina Jolie." FML

Today, I had to get a prostate exam. Right before the doctor started, he told me that if I found it awkward at all, I should just imagine I was being probed by aliens. FML

Today, I went to see a doctor because of some blood in my stool. Not only is the matter embarrassing enough as is, it turned out the doctor was a young, crisply dressed, extremely handsome man. I then had his finger in my ass for a check-up, all the while him being very nice about it. I'm still mortified. FML

Today, I went to the physician to check my rear because it was hurting. My usual doctor wasn't available, so he was replaced by a gorgeous woman with big cleavage. when she asked me to pull down my pants, she saw that I had a huge hard on. FML

Today, my doctor told me to take off my pants so she could do a checkup. When I took them off, she gasped. When I asked what was wrong, she said she was expecting something else. She thought I was a dude. FML

Today, I got prostate examination for the first time. Now I can't decide what's worse, the fact that I got a boner when the doctor inserted his finger, or the fact that my wife told the story to pretty much everybody we know. FML

Today, I was at the gynecologist and he was performing a routine check-up. He was a new doctor and I was just slightly uncomfortable with him. About mid-check-up, as he felt around my uterus, he said in a cartoonish voice, "Oh, it's so squishy up here." The doctor turned me into a sock puppet. FML

Today, my fiancé had to perform his first prostate exam. He told me he was quite nervous about it, so I reminded him that he did fine on his first pelvic exam last month. His response: "Yeah, but I've had my hands up plenty of vaginas already." FML

Today, I was very tense as I sat in the chair for my gyno appointment, so the doctor repeatedly told me to relax, in order for her to do the routine exam. I then overcompensated and relaxed so much, I accidentally farted in her face. FML

...finger instead of the doc's, I guess. I've heard that men have very sensitive nerve centers (like a ********) in that area. Gay or straight, it's supposed to feel quite good to have it stimulated right - which I hope the doc wasn't trying to do. I wouldn't be pleased if, while getting a breast exam or gyno check-up, the doc told me to imagine he's Gerard Butler or someone. Highly inappropriate of him and most awkward if you actually did!

@88 My last pap smear certainly wasn't painless. I'd say having fingers stuck up your ass is still probably worse, but it is incredibly uncomfortable.

I agree with TuthDoc and French, show come respect and sympathy. You definatly don't want to comparable getting a doctors finger up your ass to a doctor pulling a human out of your vag. snickers, you really don't have any knowledge and much of what you say or have any experience, so don't act as if you know everything, it makes you look really stupid.

I think everyone needs to look at this FML another way. Maybe he isn't complaining about the pain, but the actual hassle, the awkwardness of the situation (made worse by the Angelina Jolie comment). Seriously, though, anyone else see the possibility of an amateur porno in the making? ...Anyone...?

has anyone realized at all, that snickers, is a troll. 90% of the comments on each FML that she replies to, are replies to snickers' comments. seriously don't argue with her, you're giving her what she wants.
